Meet the Founders
Jaime Lopez
Jaime is an expert in home delivery and junk removal and has been operating in Los Angeles, CA, for almost 3 decades! Jaime has worked independently as the founder and operator of the popular JL Delivery, serving customers of many large retail outlets like Costco, Big Lots, and Apt2B. Jaime is a true pro and is known for his gentle and calm spirit. Jaime has created an amazing life for his family of a wife and 6 children and brings unmatched expertise to VHA.
Esmeralda Carvajal
Esmeralda has been in the home delivery game since the age of 19 when she joined the Lopez family business. She's completed thousands of successful hauls, deliveries and moves and is often celebrated as a rare woman in an industry often dominated by men. Esme has a very easygoing nature and knows how to navigate challenging situations with ease. She has seen it all and has a keen sense of what it takes to be successful in the home services space.
Alex Back
Alex is currently the founder and CEO of Couch.com and was formerly the founder of the popular online furniture brand, Apt2B. It was at Apt2B where he met Jaime and his family and they've worked together since 2010 on a regular basis very closely, providing exceptional service to the renters and homeowners of the Greater Los Angeles Area. His goal in starting Valley Haul Away was to create the most friendly and convenient junk removal service in the industry.
